Our Early Years Vision
“Early childhood is an explosion of experience” – Jennie Lindon
Our Vision is to create a safe, caring and inclusive environment to enable children to flourish and be happy.
Welcome to the Early Years Foundation Stage at The Northumberland Church of England Academy Trust. Your child is entering an important stage in their development and we want to make sure that their Early Years experience is fun. Whether they are having a go at Superhero writing or making a castle for a Disney princess, our caring staff will support your child by providing lots of interesting activities that make Early Years an exciting place to learn.
Children can access a place in the Early Years at NCEA at age two, three or four years. Each of the five Primary Campuses offers part time Nursery and full time Reception places. Four of our Primary campuses; Josephine Butler (Robert Stephenson site); William Leech, Grace Darling and Thomas Bewick offer two year old provision. Provision for the 30 hour entitlement for 3 and 4 year olds is available on all sites (some through partnership working). All campuses welcome visits from parents.
