Magic Breakfast at Josephine Butler Campus

Covid response under the National School Breakfast Programme

We are delighted to share this good news!

Josephine Butler Primary Campus has signed up to receive free healthy breakfast food as part of the Covid response offer, under the National School Breakfast Programme (NSBP), which is being delivered by the charities Family Action and Magic Breakfast.

As part of this government funded programme, we have chosen to offer children a healthy breakfast at home, with the distribution of ‘Breakfast Food Packs’. Children will receive a box of cereal and bag of bagels. These will be available to collect during the holidays and 220 children have signed up!The benefits of a healthy breakfast include children being settled and ready for the start of their day. We will continue with ‘classroom breakfast’ in the new school year, also provided by NSBP.
