Bishop’s primary continues to play a key role in supporting local communities. On Monday 30th March, Bishop’s primary delivered 818 care packages with a week’s worth of food to our pupils who receive free school meals. Catering teams, site staff and campus staff along with our parish clergy arrived early in the morning to help make the packages up.
Local staff driving their own cars, school minibuses and taxi firms contracted by Northumberland School Transport Service, worked incredibly hard over several hours to distribute the care packages to home addresses.
The feedback from families has been incredibly positive.
